Mass Effect 3: Omega DLC not coming to Wii U

News: BioWare are set to release the new Omega DLC for Mass Effect 3 on November 27th, but the extra content won’t be coming to the Wii U version of the game.

So it appears that the Wii U launch is not without its issues. Such a thing is to be expected of a sparkly new console, of course. Oh wait, there’s more. Mass Effect 3, which is a launch title for the new console, won’t be getting the impending Omega DLC.

This comes from the official Mass Effect Twitter account, which states that Omega “will unfortunately not be available or Wii U.” It doesn’t stipulate whether that means it will still be ported at a later date or not.

Leviathan won’t be available either, but the Extended Cut will be incorporated. Which means the questions asked by the Extended Cut will be left unanswered by Leviathan on the Wii U. Guess it’s off to the wiki for the Wii U crowd.

When asked whether there will be future DLC for the Wii U version of Mass Effect, the answer was a Bond title: “Never say never.”
