Mass Effect 3 Facebook app offers Xbox 360 unlocks
James Haresign February 3, 2012 - 2:28 pmA new Mass Effect 3 app on Facebook is offering unlock prizes and even a chance to win a custom Xbox 360.
Mass Effect 3: Mission Command has launched on Facebook and users have a chance to win prizes by undertaking missions for Admiral Anderson.
This week’s challenge is simply signing up to the site and then share it on your wall to gather more recruits. If enough recruits sign up the Normandy avatar prop will be unlocked. You can go sign up here.
Next week things start to get a little more creative as Microsoft are asking for your pick up lines to try and woo Liara, or if you want to go the Renegade route, your most scathing put downs. If successful you’ll have a chance at getting into the Mass Effect 3 demo early.
Another challenge only open to US residents is a competition for a Xbox 360 custom designed to represent either the Paragon or Renegade alignments. To take part you’ll need to submit a video of you recreating bits of the game.
Mission Command is not a part of the numerous Galaxy at War games that have been hinted at that. They will affect the war against the Reapers and help in the game’s single player campaign. Mission Command is simply to unlock some cool swag.
