Mass Effect 3 demo delayed on PS3 in Europe, out on 360

PS3 players in PAL territories will have to wait an extra day to get their hands on the Mass Effect 3 demo, Bioware has announced.

European PS3 owners will be cruelly forced to spend the rest of today with loved ones, as the EU PS3 version of the Mass Effect 3 demo – which is already out on Xbox 360 and is due for a 12pm PST/8pm GMT release on PC – has been delayed. The demo will instead be available tomorrow, at “8am-12pm PST“. That’s 4pm-8pm GMT or 5pm-9pm CET, silly American-focused Twitter feed operator! The North American PS3 release appears unaffected, though is still a little later than other platforms – expect the demo between 4pm and 8pm PST today.

This demo is the first opportunity for the general public to play Mass Effect 3 without having to faff about on a Facebook page. ME3 is released early next month, having gone gold last night, and will wrap up Commander Shepard’s story for good. Sniff.
