We all know the stress of losing progress in a game due to a power surge or a chance unplugging. Some of us may have even lost a controller on two to the wall during these events. However, I doubt very many of us have resorted to killing a cute, lovable animal as a result.
Yesterday, a Virginian man by the name of Bruce Jammer was arrested for throwing his girlfriend’s kitten against the wall and killing it after it became tangled in an unidentified game console’s power cord and pulled it from the socket. PETA has yet to unleash their fury upon the video game industry.
Jammer was arrested after his girlfriend made a distressed 911 call regarding the incident. Since the animal police have yet to register an emergency number, this seemed to be the only logical course of action. Jammer is currently being held on misdemeanor charges of animal cruelty and disorderly conduct. Since he was already out on bail for a breaking entering charge, he is being held without bail. I’d like to take this moment to recommend he invest in a stress ball upon his release and his girlfriend invest in a rottweiler. They’re a lot harder to throw and don’t respond so complacently to violence.

That is horrible. And if the console was the man’s, then it is partially his own fault for not having the cables tidied away properly.

Oh yeah, cause video games are so worth a life. Lets teach a KITTEN not to get near a cord. You can always redo your progress on a video game, but you can redo the life of a kitten you killed.

of course you can redo the life of a kitten! the damn things have 9 lives! Once it runs out of those you can always goto the kitten store and get another one and name it the same thing. It’s not like there is any shortage of kittens around.
