A conference in London tomorrow will see independent developers gather to discuss topics such as videogame death, videogame addiction and where you can find the tea and biscuits.

Bit of Alright looks set to be a celebration of all things videogames. Hosted at the Battersea Arts Centre in South London, it’s a day for independent developers to gather and discuss a variety of hot-button topics.

Among the talks will be Clare Bateman’s lighthearted examination of how to make a game addictive, Simon Parkin and Kerry Turner’s retrospective on the development of Sweatshop, and Dan Marshall – who made hilarious sex-ed game Privates – talking about videogame death while handing around tea and biscuits.

There’ll be playable pre-release builds on display, too, including one of Introversion Software’s upcoming title, Prison Architect.

Tickets are still on sale, for a very affordable £35, although you’ll have to be quick – this afternoon will be your last chance to grab them. Head to the Bit of Alright website for more info.
