Killer is Dead – Suda 51 announces new game
Lewis Denby April 4, 2012 - 8:33 amNews: Killer is Dead is to be an assassination-focused Xbox 360 and PS3 title, a bit like a darker James Bond, Grasshopper Manufacture reveal.

Enigmatic designer Suda 51′s studio, Grasshopper Manufacture, seem to be announcing a new game every minute at the moment. They’ve now revealed that they’re working on another upcoming title, one to follow Lollipop Chainsaw, and it’ll be a sort of semi-spiritual-successor to the likes of Killer 7 and No More Heroes.
This enticing prospect is to be called Killer is Dead, and once again it’s to be an assassination-focused game. Directed by Goichi Suda himself, it’ll be a dark interpretation of James Bond-style espionage action, featuring all the lovely ladies to go with it, according to Japanese gaming blog Sinobi (thanks, Andriasang!).
With sexiness and swordplay, it’s already sounding like an interesting project, and the mind of Suda 51 always delivers something artful, even when extreme violence is involved.
The game’s due for release this year on Xbox 360 and PS3. Nothing to see yet, though.
