“Isn’t PC gaming dead?” teases peripheral maker’s site

News: Roccat have taken a leaf out of Razer’s book and are teasing the death of PC gaming to publicise an upcoming PC peripheral, hmm.

You may remember that Razer posted a site claiming “PC gaming is alive” as a means of teasing their upcoming Fiona gaming tablet. It rattled a few cages, mainly because anyone who’s peddling the illusion that PC gaming is dead and works in the PC gaming hardware market clearly hasn’t done a good enough job in the preceding years of changing that perception. Nonetheless, they revealed Fiona and the collective gaming community went either “Ew” or “Meh”.

So it seems a little strange that mere months later another hardware company has posted a tease site claiming “Isn’t PC gaming dead?”. This time the culprit is Roccat.

Brilliantly, they’ve left the site open to comments. Which is where I read this:

ROFL!
wasn’t this razer’s campaign? month’ ago?
so roccat’s strategy is still to copy the markets leader?
Congratz to those “innovation monsters” xD

Apparently the actual reveal is coming in two weeks. You might read more about it in the future here, maybe.
