Okay, disingenuous title aside, this has to be the single most awesome thing I’ve seen Valve do in, oh, the last ten hours. Granted, it’s becoming incredibly hard to actually pick out moments of brilliance from a big bucket of brilliance, but this takes the delicious cake.
Reddit user Ulyssanov modded his PC case a while back to celebrate the wonder that was Portal, tricking it out with a full Aperture Science makeover. It was only yesterday, however, that they took the suggestion to send pictures of it to Valve (Gabe to be precise) to show off his dedication to all things science-y:
Their reaction? A free key for Portal 2, courtesy of those fine folks at Valve.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Best. Studio. Ever. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to shave my cat to make it look like Duke Nukem and send the pictures to Gearbox.
