Holding out for a HERO: LEGO Group hire ex-NetDevil staff

Here’s another happy ending, of sorts, for some of those people hit by the recent spate of layoffs across the industry. develop report that when US studio NetDevil had to let go many employees including almost a quarter of the team behind the recent PC title LEGO Universe, the LEGO Group itself picked up those particular staff members at the same time they bought up the MMOG itself.
NetDevil is allegedly not doing so well, though, with other former employees claiming the company is almost done for. If there’s any truth in this, owners Gazillion Entertainment don’t seem to be ready to make a statement about it yet, merely saying the restructuring will enable them to concentrate on the free-to-play side of their business.
