News: Harley Quinn not a playable character in newest DLC for Arkham City. PlayStation 3 users get DLC a day early.
Following the news of a Game of the Year edition of Batman: Arkham City, it has been confirmed that in Harley Quinn’s Revenge DLC she will not be a playable character.
In a FAQ that appeared on the Arkham City community forums, it was confirmed you will “switch between Robin and Batman within the DLC”.
Here’s the synopsis of Harley Quinn’s Revenge:
The Harley Quinn’s Revenge mission sends players back into Arkham City to face their final challenge as they interchange between playing as both Batman and Robin. Gamers must utilize each of the characters’ unique combat and investigative skills to uncover Harley’s vengeful plan and shut the gates on the urban mega-prison forever. In addition to experiencing a new storyline, fans can explore new environments and face-off against Harley’s all new gang of thugs.
The DLC is slated as the “final chapter” of the game, suggesting there will be no future updates after this. According to a Warner Bros press release, the DLC will contain over two hours of new gameplay.
Anyone else slightly disappointed on the potential of playing as everyone’s favourite maniac harlequin jester?
Harley Quinn’s Revenge DLC will cost 800 points on Xbox Live and $9.99 on Playstation Network. PSN owners will get the DLC April 29th, a day earlier than 360 owners. The FAQ confirms a PC version of this DLC will be announced “Soon”.
