Gears of War: Judgment is Epic’s new game, starring Baird and Cole

Game Informer have outdone themselves this time, revealing their July cover in not one, not two, but now three separate stages over the course of the last week. This latest reveals its central, shackled figure to be… well, both Baird and Cole, in the game we now know to be called Gears of War: Judgment.
The two covers feature Baird and Cole respectively, each cuffed and flanked by pillaging Locusts; behind, a city on a hillside burns.
Development on the game is to be handled at least in part by People Can Fly, creators of Bulletstorm and Painkiller. Their involvement had been speculated in the months since Epic‘s Mike Capps confirmed that Bulletstorm 2 had been cancelled and its team had moved onto a new project.
