According to GamersFirst, community will be key in shaping APB: Reloaded’s future.
Speaking in an interview with BeefJack, GamersFirst’s SVP of Global Markets and PR, Rahul Sandil, said the changes made to the game when it relaunches next year will be largely based on community suggestions.
“But we definitely want to hear what the community has to say. I think that’ll be the key difference: listening to the community and asking what they want, and trying to build from there,” he said.
Talking about GamersFirst’s approach to iteration, he explained: “We engage the community right from the closed beta process – we listen to them, and we take their feedback. For example, like in APB itself, when they went beta, there were a lot of suggestions and a lot of complaints, and a lot of recommendations. But I guess the team never got the runway to address those. We hope that in our model – we’re very confident that in our model – this will actually be a very successful IP.”
