News: GAME have become the first UK retailer to start selling Steam wallet codes in store, following in the footsteps US store GameStop.

After nearly going out of business this year, GAME have not only steadied themselves but are now expanding, offering Steam wallet codes in store for the first time, according to Eurogamer.

Not only that, but they will be offering up to a 33% price reduction – but only if you trade something in of course. You’ll be able to grab the codes in values of £5, £10, £20 and £50 (or £5, £10, £15 and £20, depending on sources) by taking the Steam wallet box to the till. You’ll receive a receipt with your code on, which you input into Steam. Simples.

Several hundred stores will also have the full Steam catalog on display on tablets in store, so you can see just how much you want to add to your Steam account.

A statement from GAME said: “This is the latest initiative offering unrivalled value, range and ease of obtaining digital content for our UK gaming community.”
