Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC episodes teased
James Pickard February 2, 2012 - 1:55 pmSquare Enix devs, Yoshinori Kitase and Motomu Toriyama, have hinted that Final Fantasy XIII-2 may eventually receive character specific DLC episodes.
Square Enix are looking to expand the stories of Final Fantasy XIII-2 characters such as Lightning, Snow and Sazh, in a series character specific episodes, which could be added to the sequel as DLC.
Game director, Motomu Toriyama and producer, Yoshinori Kitase, discussed their plans in a collection of Final Fantasy XIII-2 guide books released in Japan. Spotted by Andriasang, the pair revealed that they would like to continue exploring the lives of the game’s leading man and woman: Noel and Serah, as well as characters in the original’s main cast.
While DLC was suggested, Kitase and Toriyama said that they are contemplating a number of other ideas too, including novels.
However they arrive, it seems Square Enix isn’t done with the series’ thirteenth instalment quite yet.
