FIFA 12 sales eclipse PES 2012
Lewis Denby October 19, 2011 - 11:01 amFIFA 12′s early sales figures eclipse those of competitor PES 2012, EA has stated – commenting that FIFA is moving 25 times as many copies as Konami’s football sim.

FIFA 12, the latest edition of EA Sports’ football giant, is selling remarkably well when compared to its nearest competitor, Konami’s PES 2012. In fact, EA’s Keith Ramsdale has stated that it’s outselling PES by 25 to 1.
Speaking at the EA Showcase yesterday, Ramsdale commented on how happy the company is with their latest title’s early sales, saying there are “big smiles” around the company.
Five years ago it was a very different picture, with Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer franchise widely regarded as the superior product, despite FIFA’s real-world licenses. Back then, PES had the stronger sales figures. But FIFA 12 recently became the fastest-selling sports title ever.
We admired the game’s valiant efforts to revolutionise football simulations, even though it made a couple of stumbles along the way. Find out what we thought in more detail in our FIFA 12 review, and keep up to date with all the latest FIFA 12 news right here at BeefJack!
