Expeditions: Conquistador’s first stretch goal implemented, revised visuals and new animations added
Paul Yan December 21, 2012 - 3:20 amDanish indie dev Logic Artists have provided a development update on their successfully crowdfunded tactical RPG entitled Expeditions: Conquistador.

Logic Artists are hard at work on their tactical RPG titled Expeditions: Conquistador. The game, which includes strategic resource management and a choose-your-own-adventure element, was successfully funded on Kickstarter last September, and now Logic have provided an update on the game’s development so far.
When the game launches in February 2013, there’ll be two campaigns, 100 random events, 10 character classes, 28 characteristic weapons, and a variety of character skills. The frequently-requested passive companion skills will also make it into the game, even though it was a Kickstarter stretch goal that wasn’t met (it was short of just under $2,000).
For the past three months, Logic have revised the game’s visuals, redesigned the user interface, and improved/replaced the animations. Two new members were also added to the team, and Logic have created a Facebook page for E:C as well as a backer’s forum for it. Additionally, if you want the game to be available on Steam, then you can vote for it on Steam Greenlight.

I thought this game always looked like a better version of the recent of Heroes of Might & Magic games, so I’m glad to see it is still looking pretty good and right on track for a February release.
