Dungeonland trailer shows death can be fun
James Haresign January 9, 2013 - 1:41 pmParadox Interactive have set up a theme park for Adventurers in their downtime, but by the look of Dungeonland it’s going to be even more dangerous then fighting dragons.
Ever wondered what adventurers do when there isn’t an evil warlord to take down or some dragon to vanquish? According to Paradox Interactive, in Dungeonland they go to a theme park that lets them take part in those type of activities at any time.
While you can play as adventurers and experience all of Dungeonland’s ‘attractions’, what looks like a lot more fun is taking on the role of the Dungeon Maestro, throwing armies of minions against said adventurers. Looks like a fun little RTS element to what could be a decent brawler.
Preorders are available now, and will bag you the Grimoire Pack, a set of perks allowing for sneakier traps and meaner monsters when playing as the Dungeon Maestro. The actual release is scheduled for 22nd January, though on the 9th January Paradox will be streaming on Twitch.tv to show off even more than the trailer below.
