Dragon’s Dogma demo hitting 360 on April 24th, PS3 a day later
Jamie Donnelly April 16, 2012 - 1:44 pmNews: The Dragon’s Dogma demo will be available on Xbox 360 from the 24th of April, coming to PlayStation 3 a day later on the 25th.

Can’t wait to get your hands on Capcom‘s upcoming Western-style, open-world RPG? Well the wait has just been cut a bit shorter, as you’ll be able to get your hands on the Dragon’s Dogma demo as early as April 24th, an entire month before the full game launches on May 25th.
The demo will give you a taste of Dragon’s Dogma’s party gameplay, providing you access to two of the game’s character classes. Full character creation will also be included, and you’ll lead your character in two prologue quests against a mighty Chimera and a fearsome Griffin (points for anyone who can tell me the difference between the two). Should you enjoy your characters, you’ll be able to transfer them across to the main game, so the demo won’t feel like a waste of time.
BeefJack’s Lewis Denby recently took a look at the RPG, and he’s cautiously optimistic, describing it as a “scaled-down Oblivion with the combat of Monster Hunter”. I’ll certainly be trying out the demo, and if you aren’t sure what to think yet, you should check out the rest of our Dragon’s Dogma coverage.
