Does Triple A restrict creativity? Ubisoft’s Eric Chahi thinks so

But in a short interview with GamingUnion, Eric Chahi from Ubisoft said this about upcoming download title, From Dust “If it goes to retail, it could be Triple A, but there’s much more pressure regarding the content and the marketing aspects. We preferred to make something more humble and simple.”
Chahi goes on to answer the question about whether smaller tiles give the opportunity for more creative freedom with the simple answer “Yes, yes. Most definitely.”

I don’t think so, I think people who are closed minded about a what triple A game can be restrict creativity. They think that only big ass shooters or super epic rpgs can be triple A. Expand your definitions, developers, put all of that money and all of that effort into something completely unexpected and propel all of yourselves that you can into it and see what heppens. Don’t forget about those marketing dollars.
