Dishonored screenshots show off disconcerting masquerade ball

With two months left on the calendar, there’s a lot of information on Dishonored coming out. Bethesda revealed the game’s very impressive voice cast last week, and now they’ve issued a smattering of screenshots that primarily stem from a new level where Corvo has to infiltrate a particularly creepy masquerade ball.
‘Infiltrate’ may be the wrong term, as this is one of the few levels where Corvo has free access to the location of his target. Since he’s wearing a mask himself, he’s intentionally passing himself off as an imitator of himself, looking like the ‘Masked Miscreant’ adorning wanted posters all over Dunwall. Masqué risqué!
Corvo’s assignment is to assassinate Lady Boyle, an aristocrat who is funding the military capacity of the Lord Regent. The problem is that she has two sisters who are also in attendance, and Corvo must first deduce which sister is wearing what mask. Lady Boyle’s identity and the clues that lead to it are randomised every time.
That, or just wade in and kill everyone. Be warned, that approach has its consequences!
