Deadpool joined by Cable in upcoming game
James Haresign January 10, 2013 - 9:47 amHigh Moon confirms Cable will be joining Deadpool in his upcoming game. Expect bromance and a lot of bullets.

Comic fans know that historically where you find Deadpool, it won’t be too long before Cable turns up. This is partly because Deadpool was introduced in X-Force, a book that Cable was leading at the time, and partly because they play so well off of each other. So it’s predictable that High Noon have announced that Scott Summer’s little boy will be appearing in their upcoming game.
Those readers who aren’t comic fans are probably staring at the picture of an old man with half a robot face and wondering how he can be the child of Cyclops. Well prepare yourself for one of the most convoluted back stories known to comics.
Nathan Summers was born to Scott Summers and Madeline Pryor, a clone of Jean Grey that everyone but Cyclops realised. X-Villain Apocalypse infected baby Nathan with a techno-organic virus that would kill him. Mother Askani (actually a version of his step sister Rachel who will never actually exist) came from the future and offered to save Nathan by taking her with him. In said future Nathan was trained to fight the oppressive reign of Apocalypse, and learned to love really big guns. Realising it was a war he couldn’t win he traveled back in time to fight Apocalypse before he got powerful. Shunned by the X-Men for loving guns, Cable set up his own team, X-Force, who didn’t have so much of a problem with killing. Deadpool was hired to kill him, but somehow they became reluctant best friends.
And that’s missing out some great details like he was brought up by Scott and Jean inhabiting different bodies in the future, and the evil clone of him that wasn’t infected with the T-O virus.
Domino, another character from X-Force, will also be appearing. She likes guns too, and has some handy luck powers.
