Stephen Totilo, one of the contributors of MTV’s Multiplayer video game blog, recently posted on the site’s Twitter page with this brief but quick to the point quote:
Totilo: “Dead Space to Wii”
A look into the official MTV video game blog contains a slightly longer description that reinforces the announcement; EA’s horror hit, previously available on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, will be making its way to the Nintendo Wii. Details are scarce, but EA has assured that “It is absolutely going to be the quality of fear factor of the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.”
It remains to be seen if that claim will hold up, but what is definetely assured is that the game will require a noticeable downgrade in its gorgeously gruesome visuals if Nintendo’s 480p system has any hope of running it.
