Information on the upcoming addition to the Dead Space series is trickling in, and it looks to be shaping into a very different game than its predecessors. Warning: spoilers ahead.
From what we know so far, Isaac Clarke will be leaving the relative comfort of an abandoned ship in outer space and landing on the icy surface of Tau Volantis. During his time on Tau, Isaac will learn of his first new tormenter, the Hive Mind and of his second tormentor…himself.
According to Siliconera, Isaac will have a split personality, a ‘shadow’, that will taunt and harass Isaac on his every move and failure. The shadow will appear on-screen, and a majority of the games dialogue will be banter between the two.
Even though Isaac is far from the lifeless husk of the ships he once couldn’t escape from, it doesn’t mean he won’t stumble upon yet another Marker…
