The first piece of Dead Island DLC has been delayed to give Techland more time to fix some the main game’s lingering launch bugs.
Techland has decided to delay Dead Island‘s Bloodbath Arena DLC in order to clear out some of the game’s annoying bugs, which still remain from launch.
A post on the Dead Island Facebook fan page (via PC Gamer) reads: “We are working hard to make the Bloodbath Arena DLC available as soon as possible. However, due to further polishing of the main game the finalisation of the DLC code has been delayed.”
Perhaps, it’s a sensible decision from the Polish developers, especially considering the messy PC launch, which included a dev build of the game making its way onto Steam.
As for the DLC itself, it adds four new, co-op survival maps full of bloody zombie slaughtering. Techland confirmed that they plan to announce a revised release date next week.
