Company Of Heroes Dev Killed In Car Accident

Brian R. Wood, lead designer of Company of Heroes Online and a major player in development throughout the franchise, has been killed in a car accident according to reports from Kotaku.
Wood’s car was struck head-on by another vehicle travelling on the wrong side of the road. Police are allegedly considering vehicular homicide charges against both the front-seat passenger and the driver of the oncoming vehicle – who it’s been reported was under the influence of drugs at the time.
Wood’s wife, six-months-pregnant Erin, was injured in the crash but is now recovering in hospital. As well as Wood, two passengers in the oncoming vehicle were killed.
It’s a terrible, unnecessary tragedy. Our sincerest condolences go out to everyone affected by it.

Oh man… that makes me very sad
Terrible news. I hope his wife and child are OK.
I hope the authorities do more about drug driving. Its a big ignored problem.
That is heart breaking. Very sad.
Positive thoughts for his wife and family/those who knew him.
Things like this could be prevented which is the worst part of it.
@Simoroth – lets hope so.
