An interesting discovery was made just today. Taking a look at ESRB and PEGI ratings you will now find that both rating sites have updated their entry for the original Call of Duty to contain either “Xbox 360, PS3″ or on PEGI “Xbox 360 Live Arcade, PlayStation Network”
Since then PEGI has removed its listing for these platforms however they remain on the ESRB page. Rating boards are infamous for revealing game releases well before actual announcements. If the listings were in fact true and not a mistake we may be seeing the original Call of Duty as a downloadable game for both the PSN and XBLA sometime soon.
