Blizzard have released a video discussing the finer points of higer difficulties in Diablo III, including instant deaths, gold shortages and plenty of kicked asses.
At BlizzCon 2011, Diablo III dev team members Kevin K. Griffith, Nate Bowden, Nick Eberle and Richie Marella appeared in a video explaining just how hard their game’s three most punishing difficulty levels – Nightmare, Hell and Inferno – really were. Now that video has been made public, you can find that out for yourself (hint: they’re really goddamn hard).
Of course, Diablo III won’t exclusively cater for superhuman RPG veterans and masochists – Blizzard have previously expressed the belief that the third in the series will be “super-accessible” to new players. Provided they stay away from Inferno mode, evidently.
Diablo III is aiming for a Q2 2012 release, and don’t forget to check out the rest of BeefJack’s Diablo III news.
