BioWare want to know what you want for Dragon Age 3

News: BioWare have turned to Dragon Age fans to find out just what the want for the future of the franchise.

Fan opinion of Dragon Age 2 was a bit of a split affair. Some loved it, others hated it for stepping away from the more hardcore routes of the original. Everyone hated the reused locations. BioWare are taking steps to do their best and please as many people as possible with the future of the franchise.

Jessica Merizan outlines the process on the official blog that they’ll be following over the next few months, which basically boils down to asking a question on the blog and letting fans have at it over in the forums.

“Beginning today, we’ll do a series of questions and discussions around Dragon Age. Consider this a conversation between fans, the community team, and the developers. Everyone at BioWare is incredibly excited about the future of the franchise but we’re interested in what you have to say. Every month, we will discuss a topic or question about Dragon Age and game development. You will have one week to post your thoughts, desires, and hopes before we close the thread for review. Moderators and developers will pop into the thread to chat every now and again, so keep an eye out.”

“However, it’s worth reminding that we’re not making promises, we’re talking about ideas. We won’t guarantee that things we discuss will materialize and we’re not showing anything until we’re ready.”

This week’s question is: “What kinds of things would you like to discover and learn about the Dragon Age world?” and over on the forums, visits to Orlais or Tevinter seem to be ranking quite high.
