Bioware unlocks Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II promo items for all

Benjamin Ebell December 7, 2012 - 3:28 pm

Over on BioWare Social, the developer has only gone and put up a tool that allows players to unlock all the promo content that has been released but may no longer available.

BioWare, whose name has become more or less synonymous with preorder and promo DLC, has gone ahead and unlocked all of the content you could previously only get through Facebook codes, giveaways and third-party promo deals. While most of the unlocks could only be considered somewhat useful and others are overpowered to the point of breaking early game difficulty, it’s still nice to see a developer go back and unlock that kind of content for customers that might have missed a certain preorder bonus or gone past the expiration date on their DLC redemption codes.

All you have to do is log in to your BioWare Social site (or Origin) account, head over to this page, and select your platform. BioWare will do the rest and register the items to your account.

With Dragon Age III: Inquisition still a mere twinkle in BioWare’s eye, there’s no doubt that fans and newcomers will be playing plenty more Dragon Age in anticipation between now and 2014. At least now you can now do so with a few extra knick-knacks.

Sweetness! This is a lot of stuff.

One of these days, I should finish my game of Dragon Age. I waited for quite some time to get the DA games (and Mass Effect) and probably should have completed them by now. Too many games, not enough time.
