Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Reaches 5 Million Players

 As a new rival to Modern Warfare 2′s mammoth online player-base, Bad Company 2 has been growing in followers. It will please fans of the game to know that the amount of players online has now exceed 5 million, a staggering feat considering the competition the game has faced from Infinity Ward’s multiplayer hit.

Dice have now announced a new co-op mode for the game. Dubbed ‘Onslaught’ the game will allow three players to link up together against enemies faced at Valparaiso, Atacama Desert, Isla Inocentes and Nelson Bay.

Questions will now be raised as to whether this new mode will be a rival to the latest Modern Warfare ‘Stimulus’ package, and whether the overall number of online players will continue to flourish.
