Fans of the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations multiplayer mode will be able to expand their choice of scenic murder ‘em-up locations when the Mediterranean Traveler Map Pack DLC is released on all formats later in January.
Ubisoft‘s latest instalment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise – Revelations – will be getting a healthy dose of new sunny destinations for fans of its multiplayer modes to stalk and stab in each other in from January 24th – and for once PC owners will be getting something Ass Creed-related at exactly the same time as their Xbox 360 and PS3 brethren. Which is nice.
The Mediterranean Traveler Map Pack DLC – first outed by GameStop all the way back at the start of December – will include three brand new locations – Jersualem, the Imperial District of Constantinople and the mercantile area of Dyers – as well as a trio of returning fan favourite Italian Renaissance maps from the previous entry in the series, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood: Firenze, San Donato and Siena.
The DLC will be available to download from Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and various PC digital distribution platforms for the sum of 800 Microsoft space bucks or £7.99 on those services that sensibly use real world money, and while you Ass Creed Rev fanatics count down the days till you can get your daggers stuck into the new maps, have a gander at the princely set of screenshots Ubisoft have released:
