Ubisoft have officially confirmed Assassin’s Creed III for a October 30th release date.
Quick, everyone act surprised! Assassin’s Creed III is set to be made available on October 30th, ahead of the series’ usual November release schedule. Ubisoft have revealed the date in a call with investors. Smiling investors, surely, as there’s really no end in sight for the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Let’s hope this doesn’t foster complacency and hamstring innovation.
Assassin’s Creed III will be a full sequel and “the biggest installment to date“, according to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot. Brotherhood and Revelations were more expandalones, continuing the tale of Ezio and doubling back to Altaïr for the hell of it. Ubisoft have promised a new assassin and setting, but have remained tightlipped on both.
