Shortly after the official announcement of the games title, news of the story in Batman: Arkham City has emerged from the shadows.
It is already known that the title is set in a District 13 style area of Gotham City (think the narrows from Batman Begins), but will also feature an all star cast of characters and villains from the Batman Universe. These are set to include Cat Women, Mr Freeze and Two-Face.
Since Arkham City is the new maximum security home from all of Gotham City’s bad eggs, expect all new gameplay elements, gadgets and moves to deliver, as Rocksteady put it ‘The ultimate experience as the Dark Knight’.
More details on the game, including screens, should be available soon, as next months Official PlayStation Magazine and Official Xbox Magazine will both feature the title.
