Apparently Ubisoft are looking to buy out THQ

That evocative imagery aside, MCV have reported that Ubisoft are eyeing out a THQ buyout after their fellow publisher filed for bankruptcy.
The French firm have made no secret about their desire to be the number 1 publisher in the business, and though it seems that they are on the right track with 3 titles in the top 5 a couple of weeks ago, it’s not tough to see why picking up a ready made bunch of franchises would be right up their street.
MCV are also suggesting that Ubisoft are looking for a bargain price though, so don’t hold your breath for any Ubi-THQ crossovers just yet.
