Could the upcoming Motorstorm: Apocalypse be the final title in the fast paced racing series?
A rumour has cropped up stating that with the game being set in an area that is literally falling apart around you, slowly tearing itself apart as you screech around it at breakneck pace, there is little else for the developers to take the game.
The first two were set in places that could host such a racing tournament, but the end of the world nature of the location of the third console game had led some to believe that it will be the final game as the planet Earth wont exist after the events of the game. Has no one seen Mad Max?
The rumour is most likely false, especially since the game is set in one city ravaged by earthquakes and not all over a post apocalyptic Earth. Neither publisher nor developer has responded to requests for comment as of press time, but if more comes out of this we will let you know.
