In August of this year, the Halo series will be 10 years young and although the main men at Bungie are no longer working on new Halo titles, the universe continues to grow.
Halo Waypoint, the community service that equates to a hub for all things Halo will be receiving an update on April 15th. A whole host of stat tracking options will be added including the ability to browse your service records and compare K/D ratios, most popular weapons and more with friends. The service will also be getting a few performance tweaks to ensure it runs as quickly and smoothly as possible.
On April 23rd, a new motion comic will debut on Waypoint, Windows Phone 7 and net, following the crew of the UNSC Red Horse as they discover a derelict prison ship ‘The Mona Lisa’ and are confronted by a threat even more terrifying than the Covenant.
Finally, there’s even more opportunities to display your love of Halo to the world with a ton of new avatar items that’ll hit the Marketplace on April 14th.
