Ace Combat Assault Horizon: Enhanced Edition flying to PCs in ‘winter 2013′ at 60fps with better graphics
Paul Yan December 18, 2012 - 2:39 amThe previously announced PC version of Ace Combat Assault Horizon will be out in “winter 2013,” and PC players can expect a smoother, prettier experience along with some DLC packed in.

Ace Combat Assault Horizon was originally released on consoles last year to a fairly positive reception (we liked it), and now the game’s landing on PCs next year in the previously announced Ace Combat Assault Horizon: Enhanced Edition.
What makes the PC version of the game “enhanced,” you ask? For starters, it will have the “best graphics for the Ace Combat series ever” as it will run in 1920×1200 resolution at a silky smooth 60 frames per second, according to a fact sheet Namco Bandai sent us today. The game will also include “many” of the DLC that was released on consoles, including additional aircraft like the YF-23 Black Widow II, Su-37 Terminator, and Ka-50 Hokum.
Exclusive skills, aircraft skins and maps will also be available for instant access, and the game will support three-player online co-op and 16-player online multiplayer through Games for Windows Live (sorry).
The Enhanced Edition will be hitting PCs in “winter 2013” and will be available as both a retail and digital release. [Update: Below you can check out 10 recently released screenshots of the game.]

As much as I liked the 360 version, I prefer these games on the PC and can’t wait to play it.
Really? Seems like the type of game that would be easier on a controller, that is unless you use a Joystick on PC. Although, I bet it is amazing looking on PC if it a halfway decent port.
Exactly… In my personal opinion, I have yet to use a joystick that works well on the 360. But my joystick on the PC is awesome.
