2K confirms Borderlands 2 level cap will be increased… eventually
Yuliya Geikhman December 22, 2012 - 3:11 am2K has confirmed eventual plans for raising the level cap in Borderlands 2, though they are still undecided on the best way to do it.
Yes fans, 2K and Gearbox haven’t got their heads in the sand. They can hear you asking for a raise to Borderlands 2′s level cap loud and clear. They just haven’t decided how to implement it yet.
2K told IGN that there will indeed be an increase in the level cap sometime in 2013. As of now it hasn’t been decided if if they will add the levels in the fourth and final DLC of this season or if they will have a separate update for it. Many fans were hoping that the cap would finally be raised in the next DLC, Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt but it looks like the company’s not ready to do that yet.
