Ace Attorney Coming to Wii
The Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney games have wowed fans of Nintendo’s handheld systems for quite some time, and now three of the classics are coming to the Wii. Capcom has announced that the first three Ace Attorney games, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice for All, and Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations will all be coming to Nintendo’s console via their WiiWare online system.
The first of the games will be coming along in January for 1000 Wii points. Justice for All will follow that release in March, and the third game in the trilogy will hit store shelves in May. All three editions of the game will share the same price, $10. One downside of this port is that the first Phoenix Wright will be a stripped down version that only includes the first four cases from the original DS game. The fifth case will be available as a one dollar download. Capcom has not yet specified what the other two games will look like when they are released. It will be interesting to see how fans of the series respond to the shorter port. This could get especially ugly if all three games are shortened.
