GayGamer is reporting that Wow’s Proudmoore Server held its fifth annual Pride celebration, complete with the nude duel championship, a march to Rachet, the Dance Boat Party to Booty Bay, and Azeroth’s Next Top Model Competition, among many other activities.
Whatever your take on gay rights, you must admit, the WoW party was pretty clever.

I’m glad you’re gay too, because our gene pool is already shallow enough as is. There is something wrong with recognizing an attention whoring minority, because once you recognize one, you have to recognize all of them and that just takes too much time. My original point stands, be as gay as you want, just stop trying to push your agenda on to the masses who generally don’t give a shit which orifice you prefer.

Off-topic: For all of you talking about gays flaunting their sexuality-
Some people are extroverts. I know plenty of straight pricks who I’d absolutely love to pummel. Sometimes, it is part of their personality, and homosexuality part of their culture.
Also, them flaunting it is necessary in their movement to have the same rights as everyone else (at least in the US). Did it do blacks any good to stay quiet? No, something had to be done. Gays are in the same predicament of oppression.
P.S. I’m straight and lean towards the right of the political spectrum.

Ok, wow.They’re not doing for attention. If they kidnapped you and made you come then maybe but really? They’re standing up and recognizing they have equal rights just like black people and women. Yeah, I’d agree with you if they’re wasn’t a problem but people do discriminate. I’ll agree that it may be the wrong direction to go because it just make republicans more pissed, but the idea is just to recognize that they won’t be second-class citizens.

You guys crack me up, how can you possibly compare gays to black people and women, in terms of discrimination and opression? Firstly, blacks are a race, women are a gender, gays? they’re just a sexual preference, not that big a deal as you don’t even outrightly know someone is gay till they come out of the closet (which is the problem most of you gays create for yourselves, why not just be gay from the start n stop hiding, i doubt anyone would give a shit then) why have a parade for the fact that you like the same sex? str8s don’t go about having parades for loving the opposite sex do they? Just so you know, gays consist of women, blacks and other races, and there is even racism among the gays, so don’t go comparing something as little as sexual preference, to bigger issues like racism and gender discrimination!

Seriously. Let me squash this right now.
Gays, like women, and african americans, have been discriminated against, denied rights, and even killed over thier preference. Yes, gays have a different sexual preference. Who cares? They arent exactly holding a gun to your head and telling you to be that way.
I am in the US Army, and have been for 6 years… and before anyone acuses me of thinking I’m better than you, or empowered, I am not. Nor do I think so.
I am not gay, but I can relate to thier plight. I am a Pagan. I have dealt with discrimination, injustice, and closed minded bible thumpers calling me a “satan worshipper.” I’ve even been threatened with death. So I feel for them. If they are proud of who they are… let them do what they wish. They aren’t harming you in any way. So stop with the closed minded bullshit, and go live your life.
Oh. And just to point out a pretty viable point. Most of you would not even think of saying any of these things in person.
