According to Eurogamer, only on a small scale at first. This will be starting only with five person instances but apparently will scale all the way up to raid content.. Get in line, and get in when there are enough people. You’re going to be in queue with people from your server and battlegroup, just the same as with the battlegrounds PVP.

This sounds all well and good, except it sounds like it’s going to be automated. And if it’s anything like I remember the in-game group finder being, I doubt that it will be very useful in finding a group or, if you’ve got a group, a specific class/type for your group.

Maybe the implimentation of a battlegroup-wide Looking for Group channel would be better. Back when there was a looking for group chat, you could ask around and survey the landscape of who needed what and what was available. Then it was removed in favor of the automated grouping tool, which would put a group of five rogues together sometimes.

But that was then, and this is now. Blizzard knows what they’re doing, I just hope they do it right the first time, this time.
