New Super Mario Bros. Wii Gets a Unique Party
In case you haven’t noticed, the gaming industry has become an extremely competitive place, and even the most touted releases are beginning to put out all the stops to get an edge on the competition. For the New Super Mario Bos. Wii, Nintendo is continuing the trend. By turning the Nintendo World store in NYC into a miniature version of the Mushroom Kingdom, the folks at Nintendo hope to bring some fun to the game’s release. The release party will feature a fully realized Mushroom Kingdom in the store:
…filled with interactive gaming stations, costumed characters, trivia challenges, prize giveaways (while supplies last) and a live gameplay tournament highlighting the game’s new multiplayer capabilities. The event will also feature a one-of-a-kind Super Mario Bros. Museum filled with memorabilia pulled from Nintendo’s archives that chronicles Mario’s history and cultural impact over nearly 25 years.
This event should be a thrill for all ages and attract many fans to the location. The event will be held on Saturday Nov. 14, 2009, from 3-7PM Eastern Standard Time.
