Wii Fit may surpass San Andreas in sales
We all know the magic of the Wii and how Nintendo can move their games like magic, but do we all really have an idea of how well these games sell? Well, if you didn’t, look no further than Wii Fit, which is set to break the sales of San Andreas, which sold 8.25 million copies.
The fitness power house currently sits at 6.9 million sold with no signs of slowing down. With the holiday season coming up and the Wii undergoing a price drop, selling another 2 million should be no problem. Regardless of the sales rivalry between Wii fit and San Andreas neither of them are close to the 11 million that Wii Play has sold since launch.
The only problem that can be presented is that Wii Fit and Wii Play are not actual games but more so applications. But that’s neither here nor there for the big N, because app or game, a combined 17 million for one company is nothing to complain about.
