Steam to be Pre-Installed on Alienware Computers
In the barren dystopia that will soon become the PC gaming market, it seems destined that two titans will solely remain: Alienware and Steam. Both have decided to combine their powers to form an alliance and (for the time being) co-exist, having inked a deal to have Valve’s content delivery service to come pre-installed on Alienware systems.
Who knows? Maybe other systems will follow suit and Steam will become the standard for digital distribution outside of the console market. Although, having already established themselves as the distributors of premium spec computers, it’ll be pretty funny the day when consumers purchase an Alienware computer and begin laughing at the triviality of the system requirements on most of Steam’s products.
