Square Enix Sued

Square Enix, the company behind the successful Final Fantasy series, is being sued.

The lawsuit concerns ‘Unfair Business practises, false advertising and unjust enrichment’ and is for the value of $5 million. The plaintiff is Esther Leong who says Square Enix lied or concealed is monthly fees and late payment penalties for Final Fantasy XI. This information is easily available on the companies website though under a tab marked ‘Monthly Fees’ so quite what is going on in this suit is any one’s guess.
