Set Your Phasers to Beta
Good news for the Star Trek Online faithful! The official site is reporting that the open beta for the new Cryptic Studios MMO will be held January 12 through the 26.
The game, which is set to ship Feb 2 2010, seems to be on the radar of many. Cryptic, since announcing the official release date, has done a good job of constantly releasing just enough new information to keep people keyed in.
The game is currently in closed beta, so actual gameplay details have been sparse.
Gamers looking to get in on the early action should have access to some beta keys through a myriad of options; once open betas hit if you want in bad enough, it’s usually not that tough.
