Behind the Scenes with Penny Arcade TV
Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins, better known as Penny Arcade’s Gabe and Tycho, had mentioned before that they had cameras following them during the Penny Arcade Expo. These were supposedly the early stages of a “reality show” that would portray the day to day activities of one of gaming culture’s most prolific duos.
The two part pilot has been released and you can find it here. Clocking in at around 8 minutes each, these episodes feature just an interview about the pair’s past and general thoughts on their success spliced with them at the Penny Arcade Expo. Maybe the next few will have more about their daily activities and the comic’s creation.
Be warned, however, that no punches are pulled; there is a fair amount of swearing and some graphic discussions. They are still quite entertaining, and it’s also fun to learn even more about the personalities behind the genius at that site.
