EuropeaN+
The incredibly fun ninja platformer N+ is finally heading to European handheld systems later this year. Based on the popular online Flash game N, N+ has you controlling a slick little ninja acrobat as he hops, skips, and wallslides around trap-laden levels. While the input is simple (just a D-pad and a jump button), trying to doge homing missiles and bombs while hopping from tiny platform to tiny platform can reach brain-bending levels of insanity.
N+ was released for the PSP and DS last year in North America, and it brought with it several improvements on the Flash-based original, including multiplayer, a level editor, and online leaderboards. It’s coming to European PSPs in March and DSs in April.
If you’ll forgive a bit of editorializing, I can’t recommend this game highly enough. You might have already grabbed it on Xbox Live Arcade, but you owe it to yourself to buy a version you can fit in your pocket. Nothing passes a long wait at the oil change place like a little ninja jumping. And it’s far more socially acceptable to just whip out your handheld system than to roll into the Stop n’ Lube with your mask and throwing stars and everything.
