Valve All Up On PS3
Valve’s Doug Lombardi spoke out on his companies commitment to making PlayStation 3 games.
“we have to get people under our roof who are dedicated, talented PS3 guys and then all bets are off. We can take the same sort of strides and get the quality out of the box and offer the same support post-launch on that platform, as well.”
So Valve are not against PS3 development, they just don’t have the staff right now to do it as well as PC and Xbox 360. Valve are always looking for developers, but at present are not specifically hiring PS3 coders, according to their website.
