Sony Comments On Firmware Rumours
Sony have commented on the recent rumours regarding a major overhaul to the PlayStation 3 with its 3.0 firmware update.
The company flatly denies the rumours that state that the system would receive both a grief reporting system and a reputation system so players can report each other as good or bad for online games. The update would also allow background downloads of patches so that players can continue in their game while the patch completes. The final of the rumoured features is the simultaneous use of HDMI and Optical out for the audiophiles among us.
Sony have stated that the rumours are just that and based on wild speculation.
